Potential new apprentices will have the opportunity to find out about the wide range of apprenticeship programmes on offer at Barnsley College on Monday 5 March from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to speak to tutors, find out about the range of support services available to them and see how the College helps its students to reach their potential.
Apprenticeships are a career path that allow you to enter the world of work, get qualified and paid whilst gaining hands-on work experience. Anyone aged 16 or above can apply to be an apprentice, even if you are already employed. They are available on three levels, Intermediate, Advanced and Higher, so you can gain qualifications up to degree level whilst avoiding student debt.
Barnsley College is rated outstanding by Ofsted and was named BTEC Apprenticeship Provider of the Year in 2017.
With over 80 apprenticeship programmes available in industry sectors including Accountancy; Business; Catering and Hospitality; Childcare and Education Professions; Construction; Creative and Digital Media; Engineering; Health and Social Care Professions; Management; Sport; Travel and Tourism and Warehousing and Logistics, we’re sure we’ll have the apprenticeship for you.
Chris Webb, Barnsley College Principal, said: “We understand that choosing the right College and the right apprenticeship is a difficult decision.
