Burning for a hot return!

The hottest gig night in Barnsley is set to return this February with a blazing line up that will guarantee to Burn Down the Disco.

Offering support will be Sheffield five piece I Set The Sea on Fire.  This Indie/Electronica outfit have already being sharing stages with some well known artists such as Reverend and the Makers, Little Comets and King Charles and have sold out some prestigious venues such as the O2 Academy in Sheffield.

Barnsley’s own Demographic, who are currently busy gigging and recording their next EP (or album), will also be providing support.  Their brand of alternative indie is always popular with crowds.

Starting off the night will be The Delapines.  This Mancunian quartet are already setting waves in the music press, having already caught the attention of the NME, and their debut self released single ‘Gypsy Blood’ ensured the band were handpicked by a record label in Minnesota – ensuring that the EP would be released on limited edition vinyl in the UK and in the US.

Entry for this fantastic night will be just £3 on the door – and it’s recommended that you turn up early to ensure you catch each one of these four exciting bands.

“All we want is for people to get that feeling of excitement back into coming to gigs and we are sure our forthcoming line-up will certainly do that. Let’s support local music and get Barnsley back to where it belongs. So if this sounds appealing to you, come down to the Cedar Room for a night of great music and more.”  BDTD Spokesperson – Jamie Ward.
