On 14, 15 and 22 December, YSP’s Festive Music Series continues with free live music in YSP Centre by The Thieving Magpies, Accord Singers andShepley Band Ensemble.
On 21 December combine music and art with Brass Christmas, an evening viewing of the major Underground Gallery exhibition by Amar Kanwar, accompanied by Emley Moor Brass Quartet. Guests will enjoy a drink on arrival, a three-course meal in YSP Restaurant and a Christmas carol sing-a-long with the Emley Moor Brass Band (21 December from 7pm, £38 per person).
Meet Mother Christmas in a Family Christmas Workshop on 22 December. Listen to festive stories and make food for Rudolph and the rest of the reindeers to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve (22 December from 11am, £6 per child, adults free).
Give your feet a rest by paying a visit to YSP Restaurant to savour Christmas Afternoon Tea with delicious canapés, mince pies and more (weekdays until 20 December, £15 Adult, £7.50 children).
Start the New Year as you mean to go on with Walk Off Christmas, a five-mile guided walk around the Park on New Year’s Day (1 January 2014, 10.30am, £5 per person).
