Web developers are invited to attend a free seminar in Barnsley next month to help them create online selling platforms.
The Shopify Designer event will take place on Monday 22 September at the Digital Media Centre on County Way from 1pm-6pm, and will be hosted by Shopify’s designer advocate Keir Whittaker. Shopify is a global e-commerce platform that helps businesses to easily create online stores.
The workshop will expand existing knowledge and help companies use their new-found expertise and knowledge to better serve their clients with apps and interactive sites.
Tracey Johnson, Enterprising Barnsley’s sector specialist for creative and digital industries, said: “This workshop will help local designers, online sellers and web developers get the expert lowdown on how they can utilise and customise the Shopify system to help themselves or clients take effective control of their own online selling.”
This free event, organised through Barnsley Council and funded by Enterprising Barnsley’s programme of business support, is open to all local businesses. For more information, or to book your place, please visit http://www.enterprisingbarnsley.co.uk/events/shopify-developer-day
