Jo’s Lifestyle Change – Day 3

Day 3 of the trial: holy hell! I woke up feeling stiff and considering I did the the sum total of 18 minutes exercise the day before, that’s quite a shock. I went into to see Richard at Inner Unit hoping for a gentle workout at the most – WRONG!!!

Although, to be fair, I did get the knots and aches worked out of my muscles before we started. Richard decided that I was capable of doing a fitness test which will be monitored. This will show the progress and (hopefully) improvement in my overall fitness at the end of the trial.

It’s the end of day 3 and the food I thought would be a problem doesn’t even enter into it. Mostly because after just 29 minutes of exercise I’m aware of every muscle from my shoulders to my thighs – mmmm an interesting feeling.  Breakfast was great: porridge made from rice milk with bananas, strawberries and raisins covered in cinnamon. Tea was potato salad made with bio yogurt, chives, cucumber and potatoes with steamed veg and grilled salmon and tomatoes 🙂
