Jo’s Lifestyle Change – Days 10, 11 & 12

Ok, so days 10, 11 and 12 – the exercise has increased steadily and I’m feeling it although, to be honest, I’m also seeing the results. As for the sceptics out there, I will be posting the pictures and giving my weight and inch loss at the end of the 28 day detox.

As I’ve said from the beginning, I’ve not been hungry and I’m enjoying what I’m eating. I offered to cook for a friend who said ‘it’s ok, just cook NORMAL for me’ :).

Just to point out that I’m not on a DIET in terms of calorie counting and restricted intake in volume. I have been asked to cut out certain food types and have been given a list of specific foods to aim for. Those that know me, know that I love my food and I don’t do being hungry.

I’m not eating anything weird or drinking nettle tea lol. I’m probably eating the same diet as pre-war people did , pre-heavy processed food – just less a few bits.

The one thing I do struggle with is drinking 3 litres of water a day – I just forget but I’m getting a lot better. Yes, there are certain foods I do miss and after the 28 days I can have some back in small amounts. I love a challenge and I’m discovering lots of new alternatives.

I have been asked after the 28 days will I keep doing this regime and my answer is YES. Even after 2 weeks I can feel the difference. I have spent the last 16 months suffering the effects of Early On set Menapause and this is the best I have felt in all of those 16 months. The HRT helped but this has helped even more.
