Jo’s Lifestyle Change – Days 5 & 6

Days 5 & 6 of the trial: Morning all – no posts for Friday and yesterday. Friday was crazy and with doing an 8.30am gym session with Richard, sorting out customers and then setting up and helping to run a burlesque night, it just didn’t happen.

Saturday came and, after all the madness of Friday, I just wanted to hibernate to be honest. It was a quiet day and I felt a little run down after so much activity. The Friday morning session was HARD work with the punch bag, ropes and the rower – very high intensity. Thankfully, I received a massage from Claire so I could finish off the the day lol.   I had a really good smoothie on Friday morning with bananas, strawberries, coconut milk and 2 raw eggs, followed by stir fry in the evening. Yesterday was my exercise ‘day off’ which I was very pleased about. It was also the first day I had any real cravings and I was not in the best of moods to be honest (“really?” – Phil). Made it through and feeling a lot better today. I started it off with another smoothie but with less the eggs. I’m now off to enjoy the sunshine!!!
