All our kittens and cats are special to us but at the moment we have 2 kittens who need more help and attention than usual.
This is Suki (Multi coloured Tortie) who was found in a phone box with her brothers & sisters. She had a broken leg and originally the vets had hoped it would heal but at a check up last week it was found that her leg had started to die. The decision was made to amputate her leg, despite her being quite young for a major procedure like that.
This is Ella she was brought in by inspectors with her mum and 3 siblings and she was born without a foot. To prevent future complications the vet has advised that she will need to have her leg amputated too.
These two little kittens have both been coping really well so far and we know that generally cats do tend to cope quite well with 3 legs. We hope to find them both a really special forever home when they are ready.
We would like to thank Abbey Vets for their advice and support with Suki and Ella. Unfortunately these types of cases are very costly to us as a charity and we would appreciate any donations towards the cost of treatment for these two kittens and others like them, that we do get from time to time.
Here is how you can send a donation to us.
You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 by text just type – PAWS40 and the amount to 70070
