Tis the Season to be Jolly

“A theatrical spell, which is quite unique… and accessible to everyone.” The Guardian

Record-breaking box office hit and one-man show, A Christmas Carol – As told by Jacob Marley takes to the stage for its sixth consecutive year. Adapted and performed by multi award-winning actor/writer, James Hyland, this much-loved production portrays Charles Dickens’ classic tale from the perspective of Scrooge’s deceased business partner, Jacob Marley. Hailed as “a forcefully compelling masterpiece” (The Manx Independent) and the “definitive telling of A Christmas Carol” (Redditch Standard), the production has been universally acclaimed by critics and audiences alike.

“Hyland is an immensely powerful actor… the kids were riveted” The Independent

“A beautiful, simple, festive album from the man dubbed the Guitar Whisperer. Attempting to wrestle control of Christmas from more commercial aspects” Daily Express

And filled with magical surprises throughout, The Lost Present puppet performance really is the perfect gift for Christmas this year. Written especially for children aged 3 to 7 years (and their grown-ups too!), Topsy Turvey Theatre will take you on a seasonal adventure like no other. “When I looked across, my children, every one of them, were completely mesmerised!” Designed to take the stress out of organising school holiday activities, this highly creative and enriching experience tells the enchanting tale of true friendship. It’s Christmas Eve, and Elva sets out on a journey to find her best friend. Can the lost present find her way through the cold winter night? Will she arrive in time for Christmas morning?
