A live performance featuring new technology and augmented reality, at Cooper Cottage.
Barnsley-based International Dance Theatre and Film Company, Wayne Sables Project, presents the world premiere of Intense Attachment, a brand new interactive multi-media sites specific performance about the bond a parent forms with their unborn child.
Choreographed by Wayne Sables, in collaboration with technology experts Invisible Flock, Composer by Hayley Youell and Designer by Steve Denton. Film, sound, sculpture, dance and technology collide at Cooper Cottage, Barnsley, creating an unforgettable, moving and meaningful experience that brings to life a subject not often discussed.
Wayne Sables Project produces original work that is based on both personal and global experiences that are relevant to the modern world we live in. People from all walks of life are invited to come and consider this very real life matter.

Beyond producing, Wayne Sables Project are committed to developing young artistic talent in the region and so students from Wath Comprehensive, Horizon Community College, Darton College and Doncaster Youth Dance Company will feature as part of this intense performance installation.

Following the success of Wayne Sables previous work ‘You know me’ and ‘Broken’ that toured to theatres in Doncaster, Barnsley and Hull in 2012, Intense Attachment will be the company’s first site-specific interdisciplinary production that features new technologies such as augmented reality and projection mapping.
Intense Attachment is at Cooper Cottage on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September at: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.
