Our Gardens & Parkland are open as normal, 7 days a week, over the summer period. Full of hidden secrets, our Gardens are the perfect place to while away the long summer days with a picnic. Explore the magnificent Stainborough Castle, built by the Earl of Strafford as a play area for his four children, before winding through the shaded paths of the Victorian Stumpery & Fernery. Meanwhile, the 600 acre parkland is criss-crossed by walking trails, helping you to explore this beautiful part of South Yorkshire. It’s also the home to herds of red & fallow deer, as well as impressive 18th century monuments.
